Alongside my performance "CORE," I also created the nightstand "FLIP," which reflects the complicated state of a deteriorating mind. On the clock, you can see the year, the day, and the month, but time no longer seems to flow smoothly. Was it an hour ago or just a minute? Was it yesterday or last week? For someone with dementia, the perception of time diminishes, making it difficult to maintain a sense of control over life. This fascinates me, because everything we do is intertwined with time and space. With "FLIP," I hope to capture and share this complexity.
