This artwork stems from my fascination with the power of wandering and getting lost. It arose from my personal experiences and reflections on the modern ability to always be guided along the right path and to choose the fastest route. Influenced by all these modern conveniences, I ask myself: do I even dare to get lost anymore?
In a world driven by efficiency and immediacy, I feel the pressure to always take the quickest route. Yet I remember the charm and adventure of getting lost as a child, when taking a wrong turn could open up opportunities to discover something new. This artwork is my attempt to capture that personal struggle, to find a balance between structured certainty and the desire for unknown paths.
It is a visual exploration seeking answers to my own questions: can I allow myself to get lost in a world that always points the way? Do I still dare to deviate from the planned route? This creation is an honest attempt to explore the complexity of my relationship with modern navigation and my longing for the unknown.
